Rooms for Hire
A large open space with comfortable chairs and an oak wood floor. Access from Oxford Street via steps or ramp. Suitable for worship, concerts, exhibitions and public meetings. Sound desk and audio visual equipment.
Approximate capacity 500 seated on two floors
A carpeted area suitable for coffee mornings. The integral kitchen has hot water urn, fridge and dishwasher. Good access and visibility from Oxford Street. Ramp for disabled visitors.
Approximate capacity 35 seated
The lower ground floor rooms are all accessed via the side entrance on Cheltenham crescent and have good access for disabled visitors.
The Lower Hall can be divided into three areas by soundproofed partition walls. This gives the option to hire one of three small rooms or a medium size room.
A large carpeted room on the lower ground floor. Adjacent to the kitchen with service hatches. Contains piano and electric organ.

Requests for equipment should be made at the time of booking
We Ask That:
- Refuse is removed from the premises
- You provide the staff and consumables required for your own needs
- You arrange the furniture if necessary and leave the room as you found it
- Users abide by the Methodist Child Protection Policy and Environmental Policy – as displayed on notice-boards
- All groups arrange their own insurance cover and provide proof of such

We cannot accept bookings which might be considered contrary to our mission as a church. We hope you will understand that a decision not to accept a booking is not a criticism of an organisation.
Please note: - Methodist policy states that there is to be no sale, supply or consumption of alcohol on the premises. Gambling is not allowed, however, minor games of chance may be permitted by agreement with the Administrator when booking.
